As the Congo experiences the last hours of a dictatorship, the ambitious stylist Toya must choose between saving Léonora, her boss who is the wife of President Rigobert, or finding the murderer. of Raya, her missing military twin sister.

Nganji Mutiri is an award-winning artist born in Bukavu, DRC and currently living in Belgium. He works in theatre, cinema, poetry, and photography, always looking for connections and perspectives between the singular and the universal. Juwaa is his first feature film as a writer/director.
